The Mock-Up Studios String Quartet (MUSSQ) is a group of professional string players living and working in Colorado Springs. We are skilled, reliable, experienced, flexible, easy to work with, professional, and classy. Our repertoire is classical-heavy, with a little added pop and jazz. If you are looking for a special song or two, we should be able to write an arrangement just for you, at no additional cost.

The details are simple. To hire and plan is $75. For the actual event, pricing is $75/musician/hour. That means a string duo for a wedding ceremony comes to a total fee of only $225! Trust me with your learning curve! Until now you haven’t had to know the difference between a postlude and a processional. You may have also been planning on just having a friend push a button on an mp3 player once you’ve finished your gorgeous trot up the aisle. This is a bad idea, awkward and very unhelpful. When you hire live musicians, you are providing your bridal party and guests an emcee that will guide everyone to the right place at the right time. Even your officiant is unable to call the shots like we can.
