Reverend Barger

I couldn't have found a better officiant - period! I was looking for someone that I could feel comfortable with that was also comfortable performing a non-religious ceremony that was still spiritual and meaningful but personal, not cookie cutter. He was instrumental in helping us find all the right words - readings, blessings, etc. I've received complements from our guests that the ceremony was so different, perfect and unique.

Reverend Mike was awesome. He was so nice to work with. He had a great sense of humor. But most importantly, he just gets it - he understood what we wanted and never told us what to do. No matter what question we asked, his answer was never No. He would always give us options or ideas to make it happen. We wanted to do some creative stuff, and instead of looking at us like we were silly, he got involved and wanted to be an active part of everything. He ever helped us out when we played a prank on my dad at the wedding rehearsal. We talked to half a dozen ministers before we chosen Reverend Mike, and he was the only choice. He was terrific and our wedding was perfect. Thanks!

Reverend Barger was awesome. He made or memories of our wedding something we will never forget. He was wonderful. He worked with us and did what we wanted. Reverend Mike was the best. He was absolutely fantastic to work with. He had great ideas and helped us plan the perfect ceremony. It was everything we wanted and more. We got so many comments for our friends and family on the amazing ceremony. It could not have been better. He has a knack for putting everyone at ease - from the teenage ushers to our grandparents, everyone thought he was great. And I have never met anyone who could so easily put a stressed out bride at ease and help her feel comfortable planning the biggest event of her life. We can never thank him enough! Seveeral of our friends have contacted him after being at our ceremony wanting him to do theirs. We would give him the highest possible recommendation!

Reverend Mike is such a wonderful and helpful person. We had no idea what to do or how to do it. We expected the minister would just tell us how the ceremoony would go and that would be it. Reverend Mike wasn't like that at all. He worked with us for hours asking questions and getting to know us. He offered tons of ideas but never told us what to do at all. It was all about us. It turned out to be a lot of fun and we helped write a lot of the ceremony. And Reverend Mike wrote some wonderful things to add to it. It was beautiful. It turned out better than I ever imagined. I expected a standard wedding ceremony but it ended up being completely unique and we had a blast working with him. His fee was extremely reasonable. In fact, he spent so much time working with us and driving back and forth to meet us and for the rehearsal, we thought he undercharged us. He is doing weddings for 2 of our friends next spring. I couldn't recommend anyone else. He was perfect.

well to be honest rev mike is a grooms best friend... and a brides dream come true. the communication was perfect. his ideas were spot on. Rev. Mike was perfect for us because we are spiritual not religious. His understanding and ability to meet our needs were great. Reverend Mike was amazing. My fiance had enlisted in the army and he was getting ready to leave for boot camp. We decided with less than a week to plan to get married before he left. We contactd Reverend Mike and he walked us through every step. He asked us tons of questions but made it easy to plan. We ended up choosing most of the ceremony elements and Reverend Mike wrote the ret. His words at the ceremony were so incredible. Somehow he had really gotten to know us during our meetings and his words were so personal and so meaningful to us. My new mother-in-law even asked how long we had known Reverend Mike. She assumed he was an old friend. Our wedding could not have been more perfect. It was incredible!
