The Sugarplum Cake Shoppe

Amanda was so great to work with. She has a very sweet personality and went out of her way to do a last minute cake testing for my husband and I while we were on a time crunch. We found a cake we loved, and she was able to replicate it exactly. Her cake was abosulutely beautiful!

Amanda did an amazing job on our wedding cake!! She was so easy and professional to work with, so skilled in capturing and creating our vision for a cake, and so helpful in figuring out a cake option that would fit our price range. The cake that she made for our wedding was beautiful! Best of all, Amanda's cakes are absolutely delicious - a wonderful, moist cake, great flavor options, and perfect frosting! My favorite flavor combinations that we had in our cake were her almond cake with rasberry filling, chocolate cake with vanilla bavarian cream filling, and carrot cake with cream cheese filling. I can't recommend the Sugarplum Cake Shoppe highly enough!!

Amanda and Sugarplum Cake Shoppe did an excellent job with our wedding cake!!! She went out of her way to do additional tastings (so we can finalize flavors). We also had our own design for the cake and they captured the design exactly how we wanted it. Everything from looks to taste was GREAT!! They are in Colorado Springs, but don't let that scare you away. We had our wedding in Lafayette, CO and the cake got there in one piece. They are HIGHLY recommended (for any event)!!

I am a BIG cake person, so the cake was very important to me for my wedding. Amanda and Sugarplum Cake Shoppe exceeded my expectations. I wanted awesome taste so I went with buttercream instead of fondant. The buttercream at Sugarplum was to die for. Just sweet enough, just creamy enough, not too thick... But I was worried about how it would look. The cake turned out beautiful, buttercream looked just like fondant to me. The cake itself was so moist and so delicious and the fillings were the perfect amounts. I went to a lot of tastings and Sugarplum really had the best tasting. They went out of their way to get us all options we needed to taste, had a brilliant way of doing it, and answered all our questions. I got exactly what I wanted in look and taste for a reasonable price. Amanda was so sweet and helpful and easy to work with. If you like coconut, do the coconut cake with coconut filling!!! I highly recommend Sugarplum Cake Shoppe to any...
